Regarding Food Service at Civil Cigar Lounge

As first reported by Washingtonian Magazine on Tuesday, April 3, Chef Bryan Voltaggio has closed his restaurant Range. As you are aware, Civil Lounge's food menu was developed and executed by Range. With the restaurant's closure, Civil is looking at various food service options and continues to operate as usual. In the short term we are working with a local shop that has created hand made pepperoni rolls, a Calabrian specialty featuring fresh Italian bread with pepperoni, cheese, peppers and sauce.  These will be available daily, along with a vegetarian option, and will be cooked to order. ...

Chevy Chase Pavilion's grand reopening is featured in the January-February edition of Bethesda Magazine. Clarion Partners, LLC celebrated the completion of a major, $32 million renovation of the Chevy Chase Pavilion with a grand reopening party on Thursday, February 21, 2013. Guests were greeted by a live band, cocktails and small bites in the completely reformed atrium where Mayor Vincent Gray and Clarion Partners' Marc Deluca greeted the crowd. WaPo’s Going Out Gurus Visit Civil Lounge

The Washington Post's Going Out Gurus feature Civil Cigar Lounge in their January 9 story. The food, courtesy of Bryan Voltaggio's RANGE, and bar offerings are of particular interest: The menu offers some small plates you can’t find at Range, like a broccoli rabe pizza, and lamb tagliatelle. You can also order charcuterie from Range’s salumeria. The bar, managed by Dave Hammerly, is stocked with plenty of cognac, bourbon, scotch and armagnac. Read the complete story here.
